Raids
MSO Classic has four raids. Each one is a private run for your party with a single boss and a 60-minute timer, and each character can clear each raid once a week.
Checklist
- Form a party first, even to go alone.
- Clear each raid once a week.
- Open your chest before the timer runs out.
The four raids
Dungeon | Boss | Level | Party | Entrance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Training Arena (Raid) | Azure Dragon | 20 | 1–4 | Arena Gate, Lan Chow |
Dragon Vein (Raid) | Mini Protector | 30 | 4–7 | Dragon Vein Gate, Chang An |
Lost Temple (Raid) | Crimson Dragon | 40 | 1–4 | Temple Gate, Rwain |
Rabidity Inferno (Raid) | Mini Great Minotaur | 50 | 4–7 | Inferno Gate, Lan Chow |
Everyone in the party must be at least the raid’s level. Each run is a separate, so no other party can come in. The boss and its summons get stronger with each extra party member.
Entering
You need a party, even if you go alone. A party of one can enter the raid that take 1–4 players.
The party leader talks to the gate. Every member has to be online and in the same town as the gate, and each gets 30 seconds to accept. Nobody is moved until everyone has accepted, and the boss and timer start once the whole party is inside. Anyone who joins the party later can’t enter.
If anyone in the party has already cleared that raid this week, the gate turns the whole party away.
Level sync
If you’re above the raid's level, your stats, gear, HP and MP are scaled down to it for the run, and the Status window shows (Synced) next to your level. Your real level doesn’t change and your rewards aren’t reduced.
During the run
The time left is shown on screen, with a Leave raid button on the top right of the screen.
If you die, you can revive at your current location or at the entrance, with no EXP or gold lost. If you disconnect, you’re put back in when you log in, as long as you’re still in the party and someone is still inside. Leaving the party or the raid sends you back to town, and you can’t go back in.
You can’t switch your Martial Path during a run.
Rewards
When the boss dies, everyone who hit it and is still inside gets the full reward. It isn’t divided between members.
Raid | EXP | Skill points | Gold |
|---|---|---|---|
Training Arena | 66,960 | 30,000 | 500,000 |
Dragon Vein | 486,000 | 200,000 | 2,000,000 |
Lost Temple | 8,346,000 | 100,000 | 1,000,000 |
Rabidity Inferno | 33,000,000 | 800,000 | 4,000,000 |
The boss EXP gets your Martial Path bonus.
Each member also gets a chest: Azure Dragon Chest, Mini Protector Chest, Crimson Dragon Chest or Mini Great Minotaur Chest. You need to be at least the raid's level to open it. Each chest has a fixed set of items plus one item picked from a list:
The Training Arena list includes the Extra Knowledge Scroll (+5 skill slots).
The Dragon Vein list includes the Heavy Weight Scroll (an extra inventory tab). This chest also has about a 25% chance of a pet and a 25% chance of a weapon.
The Lost Temple list includes the Bank Expansion Scroll and the Character Scroll.
The Rabidity Inferno chest gives earrings and a costume head piece, with about a 50% chance of a pet and a 25% chance of a weapon.
The timer keeps running after the boss dies, so open your chest before it runs out.
Weekly limit
Each character can clear each raid once a week. The week resets on Monday at 00:00 server time. Only members still inside when the boss dies get the clear counted. A failed run, or one you leave early, doesn’t count.
